The Stone Workshops at The New School, Curated by John Zorn, is a series of half-day residencies held throughout the academic year. Workshops will be curated by performer/composer John Zorn – who will collaborate with each guest artist to design their class. Guest Artists will present their own custom-designed programs drawing from a range of activities including master classes, lecture-demonstrations, open discussions, performances, one-on-one sessions, and more. Previous guests have included Laurie Anderson, Terry Riley, Claire Chase, Bill Frisell, Pat Metheny, Matthias Pintscher, Dave Douglas, and more.
