This graduate-level, non-credit professional certificate program is for licensed and license-eligible mental health and substance abuse practitioners and doctoral students seeking specialized training in integrative harm reduction theory and practice to enhance their credentials and further their career in this field. These courses will offer a comprehensive overview of integrative harm reduction psychotherapy along with guidance about how to apply this model in clinical settings with a variety of populations. The New School for Social Research's Department of Psychology SW CPE is recognized by the New York State Education Department's State Board for Social Work as an approved provider of continuing education for licensed social workers #0199. Our program provides 48 hours of continuing education. This program has also been approved to provide 48 hours of continuing education credits for CASACs by the Office of Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Services (OASAS). Students eligible for this course must be officially admitted to the integrative harm reduction psychotherapy certificate.
