*Introduction to Screen Studies* [Track S] The goal of this course is to deepen your appreciation of the history of cinema and to explore possible ways of thinking about films. The course will survey/include the main historical periods and movements from film history – silent cinema, the classical Hollywood film, Italian Neo-realism, the French New Wave, American Independent Cinema and the Dogma 95 movement.
