Students will learn traditional rhythms and dances of West Africa and explore their connections to drumming. Dances from Mali, Guinea, Ivory Coast, Senegal, and parts of South Africa will increase students' range of motion and challenge their creativity. Join in movement, rhythm and fun! This course is open to non-dance majors.
