This studio practice course builds on principles of movement, shape, and alignment as grounded in the perspectives of classical ballet practices. Students work at the ballet barre, as well as explore center work that includes adagio, pirouettes, petite allegro and grand allegro. This course is required for all incoming first-year dance majors, and is only open to additional students by permission. Contact instructor for details.
