Digital creative writing takes the longstanding traditions of poetry and fiction writing and adapts them to the new forms enabled by digital technology and the internet. Throughout the course students will create text generators, twitter bots, memes, language instruments, interactive narratives and more. The technical part of the course will be taught in HTML/Javascript, but no prior experience is required and beginners are welcome. Prior creative writing experience preferred, but not required. Students will be expected to bring laptops to class.
