This course examines the origins, history, and philosophy of yoga. Students learn the fundamentals of yoga practice: the physical poses or asanas, and the breathing and meditation practices. Students experience how philosophy and practice are deeply intertwined and how the knowledge of the former enriches the latter. Open to all students. NOTE: Students must bring a yoga mat, block, and strap.
