The practicum is a faculty-supervised and client-driven learning experience. To the extent possible, the practicum simulates the professional context, including its emphasis on deadlines and professional standards for work products, as well as the imperative to make decisions and recommendations based on imperfect information. Student teams work on assignments defined by client organizations that are engaged in building the field of social entrepreneurship or launched by social entrepreneurs. Past clients include Ashoka Changemakers and Synergos Arab Social Innovators Program. Elective in the Social Entrepreneurship area of specialization.

Limited to graduate students. Permission required. It is strongly recommended that you take Introduction to Social Entrepreneurship prior to taking this advanced level practicum. Partially fulfills the practicum requirement for the Master of International Affairs.
