This course is a continuation of Introductory Modern Standard Arabic (MSA) intended for students with a familiarity of the Arabic script and reading, and writing. The students will be introduced to basic grammar, Arab culture, basic conversational and writing through real life situations. This course is based on the communicative approach in language teaching and learning. It focuses on the functional usage of the language and on communication in context. At the end of the semester the students will be introduced to the Arabic dictionary.
