This intensive course introduces non-majors to the fundamentals of communication design: the history, form, and use of typography and the materials and methods used throughout the communication design field. Through a variety of projects, students explore the relationship between ideas, language, form, and communication as aspects of design processes, from conceptualizing to execution, and design thinking.
Open to: All university undergraduate degree students; except Communication Design and Design & Technology majors.
