This course is designed to give students a first exposure to the studio and to the exploration of printmaking. Through personal instruction and demonstrations, students will learn a range of printmaking methods and approaches to making visual work through these methods. Students will make a range of original prints and will be prepared for entering into further study in printmaking. Students will visit local museums and/or printmaking studios to learn more about the mediums in which they're working. The class is open to beginning and advanced students.
