Welt pockets will be constructed and applied to the jacket front and finishes, such as shoulder pads and linings, will be executed to complete the jacket. Archival clothing details may be referenced during class. Through lectures and demonstrations, students will be able to evaluate different levels of quality tailored garments that include hand and machine stitching. The course may include a field trip.
