Through individual and group explorations, games, exercises, and other activities, students will discover how general use and functioning relate to everyday life activities and the demands of acting. This will include practicing the Technique in daily activities and acting related activities. Individual tutorials will be given during class time. This course is the fundamental to the actor’s training. Developing Alexander Technique skills will create a more “free and open instrument” which is necessary to and enhances the actor’s work regardless of the acting approach/method.
