This module led by acclaimed Theatre company Frantic Assembly will give you an insight into the methodology of their devising process; it aims to equip the artist to learn, develop and create original devised work using both movement and text. The classes will initially explore the Frantic building blocks and methodology, through a series of practical task- based exercises you will physically explore and respond as well as looking into ways Frantic generates text to create work. You will take this learning into the second stage where you will apply it into creating an original piece of theatre guided and directed by Frantic Assembly practitioners. You will work to hone, shape and create a piece that also considers the potential of the camera and developing digital work. The module will culminate in a sharing of this work for an invited audience. This module will take place on zoom
