At 2 pianos, two to four players. The Ensemble Piano course is a performance-oriented class whose mission is to explore the literature for one and two pianos, as well as provide a recital as the goal for each semester. At least two semesters of Piano Class or related experience. Piano Duo repertoire consists of pieces that engage two to four players at two pianos. Students will study pieces like Stravinsky, Sonata for 2 pianos, Milhaud, Scaramouche Suite, Poulenc, Sonata for 2 pianos, Bizet, Carmen Fantasy 2 pianos, 8 hands.
