"This interdisciplinary studio program elective considers the human body in space and the physical experience as a core experimental field for artistic research and practice. Through individual and collective projects that address human and environmental issues, students will investigate the contemporary body in relation to a broad set of senses, artefacts, inhabited structures, interactive spaces and dynamics. Explorations will focus on human-scale experiential design. Students will also critically and artistically explore the relationship between space, materiality, immateriality and the body beyond disciplinary boundaries. Final prototypes can take the form of wearable sculptures, digital interfaces, performance-based or interactive experiential installations, multisensorial objects and inhabited spaces, depending on students’ profiles, skills and goals. Collaborative projects by students of different programs will be strongly encouraged. Open to: All Parsons Paris undergraduate students (FY excluded) . Pre-requisite(s) : none."
