CoPA Voice Performance Lab is a new course for the AY 21/22 academic year that will bring vocal students from across CoPA together to learn, collaborate, explore technological resources, and perform. Students with a vocal background and previous training will have the opportunity to further develop and bring their creativity, artistry, and skills to a range of repertoire that may include selections from The American Songbook, Cabaret Songs, Musical Theater, and Popular/Standard song repertoire. Student learning will be focused on the critical importance of text and storytelling, musical style, and stage presence/body awareness in performance. By audition on the first day of class, at the instructor's discretion.
