The course looks at contemporary projection design techniques, tools and methodologies in theoretical productions. The course interweaves principles of video projection into design projects using industry standard software tools and techniques for image editing and visualization. Concentrating on media integration in live performance, it offers introductory training in projection design process. This course provides project-based studies in projection design for theater and contemporary performance based in script analysis and visual interpretation. The trajectory of this course is designed to bring students from a basic scenographic projection design through to more advanced topics of typography projection design and cinematic video.
