Intensive Winter Session Course. This course provides the theoretical, historical, institutional and technical background for effective advocacy of international economic policy. The focus is on the political economy of international trade, foreign direct investment, exchange rates, portfolio capital flows and the balance of payments, industrial policy and international labor migration. The course is one of two in the new M.A. track in economic policy. The course will be coordinated with “National Economic Policy Analysis.”
