[Track S] This class offers an introduction to the world of 3-D (stereoscopic) filmmaking. Through production assignments, and research into the history of stereo-vision, students learn the foundational concepts behind creating 3-D films. As the final project, students produce their own short anaglyph (red/blue 3-D) films. To complete the course successfully, a computer or laptop capable of running Adobe Premiere Pro (Macbook Pro or equivalent) is required. (Please note, the materials for this class cost $100, going toward the construction of your own 3-D video camera that you will be able to keep at the end of the course.)
