Late twentieth-century French philosopher Michel Foucault had a profound influence on contemporary thinking about power, discourse, history and sexuality. This course introduces Foucault's key works and explores Foucault's influence on queer, feminist, and postcolonial theory and more broadly, contemporary cultural studies. [Track C]
