Winter / January 2021
Taught By: A.W. Strouse
Section: A
CRN: 9216
Credits: 1
This is a January 2021 intensive course. It will meet between January 4-15. See the exact meeting dates and times below. As COVID-19 has disrupted daily habits, this mini-course will focus on cultivating creative routines. Through short readings, we will consider what “habit” has meant from the point of view of ancient mystics and contemporary queer and feminist thinkers. In our creative-critical exercises, we will develop habits of self-care, artistic practice, and spiritual insight. This exploration of habit will empower us to become more grounded in the current context.
