We will focus on the writings of the classical American Pragmatism—especially on Charles S. Peirce, William James, and John Dewey. We will also consider the works of contemporary pragmatists including Richard Rorty, Cornel West, Ruth Anna Putnam and Hilary Putnam and Philip Kitcher.
