This ARTS PLATFORM COURSE meets twice a week: DAY ONE will be a virtual, public-facing talk with artists, curators, activists, and scholars across the world about the making and unmaking of art under conditions of exile or forced migration or from areas where travel is prohibited or difficult; DAY TWO, the class will meet for a closed seminar discussion. This course can satisfy a Contemporary Dance or Visual Studies elective requirement, or an Arts program LINA (Interdisciplinary Arts) requirement. STUDENTS MUST REGISTER FOR BOTH THE LECTURE (LVIS 2013) AND DISCUSSION (LVIS 2023) SECTIONS OF THIS COURSE.
