Cuba Now! Arts & Society examines Cuban nationality in a wide-range of artistic formats; from art and visual cultures to literature and film. The course embarks on analyzing innovative social media activism and current day social entrepreneurship and cultural sustainability initiatives. By grappling with current progress on US/Cuba relations, inclusive of the island's current realities and the global Cuban diaspora at-large, the course intends on establishing common ground on possible Cuban futures related to ideology, politics, democracy, race, and ethnicity.
