This is an accelerated elementary course for beginners with little or no knowledge of French looking for a more intensive, in depth study of the fundamentals of speaking, listening, reading, and writing in French. They acquire elementary grammar skills, build vocabulary, and acquire knowledge of France and the Francophone world while enhancing their communicative skills. The course has a fully integrated multimedia program (electronic workbook with audio, video, chapter exercises and activities).Students are required to purchase this multimedia textbook in order to take the course.Intensive courses are an accelerated track at the Introductory-level. Students who take the Intensive course sequence are expected to continue on the Intensive-course track.
