This is an advanced conversation graduate course conducted entirely in French designed to reinforce and extend the student's communicative skills, and to deepen their cultural knowledge of France and the Francophone world. The course materials include various media (newspapers, magazines, movies, video-clips, articles, blogs etc.) selected to build vocabulary and encourage students to speak spontaneously on a variety of topics. Students practice listening and speaking through structured dialogues, oral presentations, and topical conversations. High Intermediate to Advanced proficiency required.

This course counts toward the completion of the Graduate Minor in Language Studies in French studies.
