This second methods course is devoted to the skills of reading, writing, listening, and speaking at all levels. Topics include lesson planning that emphasizes learning in context and integrates the four skills with grammar, vocabulary, and pronunciation; published and authentic materials in specific skill areas; and group dynamics and techniques of classroom management. The goal is to train you to be an organized, reflective teacher who can help your students attain communicative competence in English.
