Observation and Reflection

Spring 2021

Taught By: Michael Perrone

Section: A

CRN: 7413

Credits: 3

Observation is a critical component of teacher education and development. We learn a great deal by looking at other classes and other teachers’ behaviors. Observations help frame our own educational philosophy and also mold our pedagogy. Over the semester, students will observe various teaching contexts and explore their understandings of language pedagogy, using a variety of techniques and theoretical lenses.
