The relationship between change agent and client is perhaps one of the most important predictive variables affecting a successful organizational change intervention. Students learn and use the collaborative consulting approach at each stage of a simulated consulting process. Special emphasis is placed on techniques for managing client resistance and transference issues, common concerns also encountered in the relationship between psychotherapist and patient. Restricted to students in the Organizational Change Management program. Offered spring semester only. Prerequisite: NMGM 5003 Foundations of Organizational Change.
