The course explores the theory and practice of Organizational Assessment with an intensive team project in a client organization. Students use a range of methodologies to collect and analyze data from their clients, and present feedback in a manner that enables clients to make informed decisions and pursue change. Data collection strategies include document review, questionnaires, individual and group interviews. Students must be prepared to commit time and effort outside of class to work with their project teams. Prior experience or coursework with client engagements is beneficial. Requirement for the MS, Organizational Change Management; MS, Environmental Policy and Sustainability Management; and Advanced Certificate in Organizational Development.
