This AFM capstone course enables students the opportunity to work together in an environment that simulates the daily activities of a merchandiser and designer. Students evaluate a wide-range of merchandising strategies to gain knowledge of the apparel development process. Through weekly hands-on exercises that examine line planning, color forecasting, trend analysis, consumer research, fabric development and line editing students merchandise a collection for the upcoming season.
