This course sets the next level for garment construction. Students will proceed to couture sewing, draping, and patternmaking techniques and creatively apply all three foundational methods to the design of garments. They will design in a holistic manner seeing the garment as an entire piece rather than an accumulation of parts. Students will maintain patterns and records of all work, ideas, and fabric choices.

Open to: Associate Degree in Fashion Design majors only. Pre-requisite(s): PAFS 1020 Construction 1: Patternmaking, PAFS 1080 Construction 1: Draping, and PAFS 1090 Construction 1: Sewing
