As an intern the student is required to work a minimum of eight hours per week, or 120 hours total during the semester. In addition, the student keeps a journal reporting their activities that is submitted at the end of the semester to their Faculty Advisor who, in consultation with the internship supervisor, awards a grade on the basis of performance and written work.
