Students who wish to acquire additional professional and practical experience in the field may choose to intern at an institution, organization or company meaningfully connected to their study. In order to pursue an internship for credit, a student must have completed the first semester/ 12 credits in the Masters Program. Students can earn three credits through an internship that qualifies as a general elective (60 hours per credit). Internships can be searched through Career Services. Students should consult with their advisor on the choice of an internship in relation to their academic and professional goals.
