Living a life that is consistent with one's deepest aspirations is a problem that has engaged autobiographers, essayists, poets and artists of all orientations. In this course we read central works that frame and resolve this problem in ways that bear closely on meeting the challenges that our contemporary world poses to personal integrity.

Open to: All university degree students. Pre-requisites: first-year university writing course and at least one prior history or methods course in art, media, film, or visual culture.
