This course is an interdisciplinary educational and research partnership between The New School, Parsons, and middle school students to learn and teach design-thinking skills to produce interactive and generative experiences with emerging visual, audio technologies such as Augmented, Virtual, and Extended Reality as well as game design and interaction design. The students will focus on designing and testing educational technologies. We will create stories, experiences, and environments, for making socially and culturally important projects as they apply to citizen science and community activism. for previous versions of this course: Ed Tech 2018, VR and Storytelling 2017, Making VR Pi 2016
