Focusing on the development of visual dramaturgy and visual storytelling skills, the Design for Directors and Writers course is intended to lay a foundation for the collaborative interaction between writers and directors with designers. The curriculum positions design as a creative partnership between writers, directors and designers, emphasizing critical thinking and conceptual development (the visual dramaturgy of space and character), as well as creative expression and craft (the visual manifestation of ideas).
