In this semester, we will explore several of the more common dialects used today including but not limited to; French, Irish, Australian, American South and New England. Students will be asked to then team up and choose a dialect to teach to the class. Examples are Russian, German and Creole. Studentsa will be asked to present a packet of research including maps, soun changes, exercises and examples and will spend one entire class period teaching the class.

Students who wish to enroll in a graduate theater course at The New School for Drama must be accepted into the graduate theater program as a full-time student.
