A continuation and deepening of the work begun in the first year of defining and developing a technique of acting in service of a future career in the professional acting arena. The work will consist of in depth analysis and performance of classic american and european texts (scenes from these plays), along with improvisations and specific exercises to further the work of ‘ living truthfully’ within the imaginary circumstances of the play.

Students who wish to enroll in a graduate theater course at The New School for Drama must be accepted into the graduate theater program as a full-time student.
