In Classical Studio: Acting 1, the Actor will acquire objective skills--how to: (1) marry truthful contemporary acting technique to classical verse, (2) decode iambic pentameter, (3) set the word against the word, (4) listen and hear Willie Shakes’ “clues,” (4) “freshly mint” imagery, (5) use sound devices actively (alliteration, onomatopoeia, etc), and (6) “take the audience along.”
