Taught By: Sanjit De Silva

Section: A

CRN: 2557

Credits: 2

Process in Practice is a rehearsal class in which each student will choose a character to work on for the entire semester; the choice of the character is up to the student and should be something that provides the opportunity to use all the skills both of research and practice acquired in the first two years of the program; the students will choose their characters, decide which scenes they wish to work on in depth and cast those scenes; one of the skills to be investigated in this class is collaboration because all the students will be doing supporting work in their colleagues’ scenes as well as working on their own characters; the final class session will consist of two open rehearsals in which the students show the scenes they have been working on; these rehearsals will be open to all students and faculty.
