Students will continue to explore the fundamentals of screenwriting, with an examination of, and the execution of their, "second act." Additional course work includes weekly analysis of completed films, primarily the early work, of established filmakers, again with an emphasis on the role of the playwright in the medium.

Students who wish to enroll in a graduate theater course at The New School for Drama must be accepted into the graduate theater program as a full-time student.
