This course prepares MFA actors in the third year of training for the buiseness of being a working actor and assists them as they plan strategically to enter the industry upon graduation. The course will cultivate practices that will enable actors to navigate the field in a productive and sustainable manner. Topics covered will include techniques for handling interviews and auditions, working with producers, artistic directors, casting directors, agents, and managers, understanding the tools of self-marketing and the development of promotional materials.
