This course is developed for today’s performers and the need to have access to and clear embodiment of a full kinesthetic imagination. The actor, dancer, musician will be able to bring these skills to performance. In this class we will free the body of unnecessary patterns of tension and expand the kinesthetic sense in order to create a more highly tuned instrument for creative process. Awareness with the ability to pause and create poise with choice, will be used to release habitual constraints and reveal unfamiliar neurological pathways within each individual. This process will be integrated into movement studies designed to stimulate a wide range of psycho-physical imagination and corporeal expression. Acquiring skilled practice of the Bartieneff Fundamentals within an accumulative sequence of breath and movement will awaken and enliven the self- mind/ body/ emotions.
