This studio course covers creativity and entrepreneurship in art and design practices. Guest lecturers, presentations, assignments, readings and discussions cover writing for art and design practitioners, how to apply for grants, artist and designer residencies and graduate schools, the basics of running an art business (including tax, contract, copyright law), developing professional identity, systems and networks for careers in the arts.
