Building on Fall’s Drawing: Fashion and Form course, this course is looking deeper into fashion design processes, with focus on non traditional experimental 3D methods. Shape, form and fit are challenged in an interplay between visual 2D research and 3D experimentation with expanded draping, in an intuitive and playful way. From a theme and 3D demonstrations, students carry out individual, complex visual research, investigate and translate into textile experimentation and draping, in order to explore new iterative paths to wearable shapes and garments. Prerequisite: Drawing: Fashion and Form, open exclusively to Fashion Design Students
