Design Studio 3 allows students to develop their research skills, methodologies and design process further. It focuses on applying a methodical research process to the conception and construction of a ready-to-wear collection, presenting a clear design purpose, context and message. By working in pairs, students will be prepared for their future professional lives as creatives working in a design team. Besides the challenges that come with the creative process and the creative differences of each team member, requiring a whole new skill set, other skills like budget and time management will be learned faster through teamwork.
