French Intensive 1 is designed for total beginners. It is an introductory and discovery approach to French. Students will be able to ask questions and to understand, to express, to write and to read basic information about their identity, their surrounding and familiar topics such as the academic environment, family, food, home environment, habitual activities and hobbies, going out, and travelling. Class activities will promote basic communicative and cultural skills and introduce the fundamentals of the French language. This course will cover grammatical and communicational structures of the A1 level, but also a series of structures of the A2 level. Students who have some basic French should enrol in French Intensive 1.5.
