Explore how photography can capture, document, and interpret the evolving urban landscape. Drawing inspiration from Eugène Atget’s iconic documentation of Paris and Berenice Abbott’s photographs of the rapidly changing metropolis of New York, this course guides students through the process of observing and translating urban shifts into compelling visual narratives. Combining historical context with hands-on technical practice, students will learn how to transform analog photography into conceptual, expressive artwork.
